would return there
The Double or Twin Room was simple but comfy with air conditioning and free toiletries. The pools were well-maintained, especially the outdoor ones. Breakfast had a large assortment of breads and an omelet station. The staff quickly served drinks at the bars. I loved snorkeling near the beach, even if it was small and rocky.

The location is peaceful and away from crows.
The overall condition of the room was appalling! I had to change rooms twice due to the filthy state, with old, corroded appliances and broken fixtures everywhere. The water in the pool was disgusting, and the staff was dismissive about my complaints. it felt like they didn't care at all.

the room was a disaster with dried blood on the wall and a broken fire alarm. how was I supposed to relax? also, not even a complimentary drink for my troubles? pathetic. I nearly gave a good review, but I just couldn’t get over the filthy shower head and the lack of basic service. I expected more, honestly.

The kids loved the pools and we made the most of the beach activities. We enjoyed visiting the beautiful Aquario for snorkeling, which was quite the highlight. The staff were diligent about cleanliness, and we appreciated the daily activities for kids available at the resort.
For dads, it would be great to have more organized family events.

Fantastic snorkeling experience and delicious food!
During my five nights stay, I was amazed by the vibrant marine life just a short distance from the hotel, making it a prime spot for snorkeling. The food offerings were consistently diverse and delightful, especially the breakfast that featured a large cold salad and meat selection. Additionally, the pools were well-maintained and a great place to relax after a day of exploring. However, it would have been nice to have a better selection of beverages in the room.

I recently stayed at Decameron San Luis for three nights. The room was decent but had some issues. It was clean, though basic, and needed some maintenance. The bathroom had old faucets and the shower water pressure was weak. I loved the food options, especially breakfast, which had an impressive spread with fruits and eggs. The buffet for lunch wasn’t great—limited choices and not very tasty. Dinner at the Italian restaurant, ‘Pastafari,’ was by far the highlight. I found the beach right in front of the hotel lovely but narrow. The coral made entering the water tricky, but once you’re in, the snorkeling was fantastic with plenty of fish. The pools were clean and a nice way to relax in the afternoons, though they got a bit crowded. The staff was generally kind, although at times they seemed overwhelmed and slow to respond to requests. I appreciated their efforts, especially during the shows and activities in the evenings. For the price paid, it was worth the visit, but improvements in room maintenance and dining variety would certainly enhance the overall experience.
